The Pansitan Community
Hello!!!! We are revived!!!
Welcome everyone to the new Pansitan.net Portal. It’s another way for you to enjoy your stay here. We will be posting members’ new blog entries, any activity the Pansitan members (or their school, their family, their group, their barkadas) might be doing (a new blog entry, a party, new book, new album, a concert, a school activity, a new discovery, or they just want to say hi to their friends) or whatever else they would want everyone to know!
So far, we have 26 members in the community and a few more will be added once they’re set up. For the meantime, come and enjoy the community – visit the members’ sites, leave them some comments and come back more often! There’s just so much to see here!
I am so proud to present the members of Pansitan.Net…

“Ang blog na ito .. ay mga personal na mga opinyon, kuro-kuro, kadramahan, kabaliwan at katatawanan. Wala po akong kinalaman sa Batibot na hindi ko pinanood dahil matanda na ako nang lumabas ang programa’ng yun. Bukod sa nawi-weridohan ako kay Pong dahil ang laki-laki nyang pagong pero ang liit-liit ng boses nya.”

“The day-to-day musings of a young wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and colleague. God knows I don’t really have the time of day to record my thoughts for posterity, with a husband, two (three) toddlers, a 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath house and Boris the Cat to take care of, but I’m taking a calculated plunge.“
Ala-ism

“It takes a certain amount of courage for a person to put up a weblog. If courage is wanting, vanity will do. A vanity to presume that one’s life is more interesting than another’s. A vanity that presupposes another person’s life is to be stopped to read about your own. A vanity that unblinkingly says, “No, this is better.”
Courage I may not have but of vanity I have a lot.”

“There are so many gifted Photographers……..I’m not one of them
…but my love for photography makes me determined to be a skilled one. Your comments on my photos will help me achieve this goal. Hope to hear from you.”
Deja Brew
California, USA
“It’s in the simplest existence,in the humblest company and in the emptiest moments that I learned to appreciate what I had… and find happiness right where I was. I didn’t have to reach far and dream big. One can only be as big as one sees oneself. The world will always be bigger still… and God, even more.”
Gretch
Manila, Philippines
“She’s a great little housewife, though sometimes she talks like a fool. But she helps at the store in the holiday rush, and she picks up the kids after school. And she puts down the phone when her husband comes home, and she changes from mother to wife. ‘Til she feels the words hanging between them, and she hangs by her words to her life.
……OK, OK, hindi ako ito. Si Sandra ito. Sus… wala lang akong masabi.”
Haring Liwanag
Australia
“I believe places can speak to us and we have the equal ability to listen if we allow ourselves to. I have two homes where I live two lives. One, in the Philippines, and the other in Australia.
I was wondering when it would happen until it finally did. I’m talking about Australia speaking to me, not unlike the way my own country does. And the few times it did, I smiled to myself knowing that the process of my integration into Aussie life had begun.”
I Dare
California, USA
“I love to write… to string words together and make them flow through the tongue smooth like wine and rich like honey. Though I grew up with the notion that I wasn’t good enough, and maybe I’m not, I learned that it’s a free world and everybody deserves a place in the sun and his 15 minutes of glory. This site will serve as a collection of my short stories. My entries may be painfully sporadic, depending upon the dictates of my muse. This is my place and here I dare. This is your place too, should you care.”
My Indira
Philippines
“Nothing Else Matters
I’m gonna be okay, i don’t wanna be branded as a humanitarian friend from beyond….it’s just that I’m a mom…a new mom…& cool at that….I’m gonna be good at this, or else…”
Kuya Fuji

The musings, the journeys, the triumphs, the disappointments, the aspirations and the dreams of the (frustrated) Piano Man. His singing expresses his thoughts, conveys his emotions and unveils his life. Walk his life with him…
Bangga Mari-it
Philippines
“Local legends of the Visayan islands of the Philippines tell of places where invisible, magical folk live. They keep wild animals for pets and whoever harms the animals fall into misfortune. Those who let the animals be are blessed with good fortune. These places are sanctuaries for wildlife.
Mari-it Wildlife Conservation Park is one of the last of these places of sanctuary.”
Mega Meg
Melbourne, Australia
“I’ve been mulling over the idea of having my own blog for a long time now and finally here it is! I have always loved writing down my thoughts and ideas, but really getting down to the written (or is it typewritten) word takes some effort and a lot of dedication to keep the posts going. So here goes…”

“I always had this love-hate relationship with words. People say I’m a man of words, for I am talkative. I say I’m a man of words for I tried my best to choose the best one when the need arises. But I don’t know.”

“ang totoo po nyan, sa personal ay tunay pong ako’y mahiyain. kung gaano ako kadaldal dito, tahimik lang ako sa personal. siguro lang ay maaaring naninimbang pa ako sa mga bagong kaharap. pero hindi talaga… shy ako eh.”

They now reside in Modesto, CA with their two sons, Lance and Troy, and their Pit Bull, Spot. The couple is eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first daughter in June 2004. “Sa handaan I prefer Pansit Bihon over Spaghetti because I’m a pesco vegetarian. Kasi nowadays madami na ang nagluluto ng pansit na shrimp, kikiam, squidballs, pusit ang sahog. Istapagets kasi bihira lang nag nakaka-appreciate ng seafoods ang sahog, nakasanayan na din kasi.”
