The ‘Bring Maui to Baguio City’ project
Hello everyone! I am Kat of http://tissuepaperworld.pansitan.net
I am posting here to solicit help for my friend Tiki’s personal mission.
Tiki and I went to college in the University of the Philippines, Baguio campus. (Tiki graduated in 2001, I graduated the following year)
We are both from Metro Manila and in the course of our college lives, we have developed a deep affinity for Baguio City. This city has become a very special place for both of us. In fact, I have relocated here (my second attempt, the first one was in 2005) and Tiki regularly visits the city whenever time permits (at times even if it does not).
Anyway. Tiki met six-year-old Maui in the UP-Philippine General Hospital last month. Maui has been a regular patient at the hospital since she was born. In one of their talks, Maui mentioned to Tiki her fervent wish to be able to go to Baguio when her treatment is through. For the complete story on Maui’s condition and Tiki’s special project, please click here.
For an article on Maui published in Baguio City’s leading community newspaper, please click here. In that article you will also find Tiki’s (real name: Jose Orlando Garcia) contact details.
Any kind of help will be highly appreciated. Prayers for Maui, most especially, are needed. She was rushed to the emergency room last July 24 and as of now Tiki and her family want Maui to satisfactorily recover before her Baguio trip pushes through.
Thank you all for your time.
